Boast on Participation of People; a Trick for Hiding of the Frauds
Tuesday, 1st September

By: Baktash Rawesh

English Version by: Abdul Raziq Hassan

Experts believe that boasting of people's widespread participation in election is a new trick which the government wants to hide the accomplished frauds in the mentioned election.

While the participation of people in election (August 20) was more and more weak and pale in compare with Afghanistan's first election on 2004, and from other side the electoral commission of Afghanistan has not issued the exact rate of participants in election; some of external high rental authorities include of Barak Obama are looking optimistically toward of this election by announcement that the participation of people in the election were really widespread and conspicuous.

Noor Ul Haq Ulomi a parliament member in response with the question in which why the International Community is silent against the accomplished frauds of elections? Says that the optimistic positioning of International Community shows their unawareness in this regard, because they have relied on accounts which have sent them by an inefficient and corrupted government.

Ulomi adds that it's correct that the people have not taken part conspicuously in the election but their less participation can also have a great achievement to our country.

According to Ulomi, some of the people try to dispaly the accomplished frauds valueless and insignificant for the world through these prejudices while the international community, international observers and the people of Afghanistan whom have revealed their proof and documents regarding widespread frauds which has done only by one candidate; are willing to position legally against them and or to support those who really can prove the frauds.

Ulomi hopes that international community must pay most of its attention in this regard and to do not bear with frauds, because accepting of fraud is in opposit with democracy.

About last words of Rechard Hallbroke, US special envoy to Afghanistan who invites people of Afghanistan into continence and suggest them to accept to outcome of election Ulomi says that I am siding from his words but I want from international community and people of Afghanistan to accept the transparent outcome of election not only outcome, because there is big difference between outcome and transparent outcome and the frauds are also included in outcome of election and till we do not separate them from the real votes of our people we can not wait for succession of the truth.

Sardar Mohammad Rahman Ughli one another members of Parliament says that with no doubt the election is the best way for transition of power but question is here that how the election held here? Whenever participation of the people particularly on those provinces which are relatively in a secure condition were about (20 – 30)% percent while in insecure areas the rate for participation of the people had been between (5 – 15)%, so in accord with these records I don't know how they claim that people's participation had been widespread or conspicuous in election. According to Ughli, the least percentage for participation of people must be beyond 60 or 70% from all population of the country until to claim for its widespreadness.

Ughli also added that the international community, particularly United States by all means tries to unsettle the psychosis of our people in order hide their failures for ensuring security and establishment of democracy in Afghanistan . >
