Abdullah: The Said Claim Is Utterly a Lie

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the candidate, in a press conference, categorically denied the claim that supposedly in case of fraud, his team will start demonstrations. Dr. Abdullah considered this a plot and insisted “No one from our campaign team has ever said this word.”

This is so while some of the media quoting Sattar Murad, Dr. Abdullah’s Campaign Manager, as saying that if there were fraud in the elections people will slip into demonstrations.

Also, Dr. Abdullah in another part of his conference expressed worry regarding the security situation. He said that until now two persons from his campaign team have been killed and four persons have been injured.

Dr. Abdullah added “If such insecurities are not prevented there is a possibility that a large number of people will not participate in the elections.”

Dr. Abdullah with mentioning that ensuring security is a responsibility of the government asked the government to prevent the security incidents.

This is while lately several of Dr. Abdullah’s campaign offices in the provinces have been attacked by armed groups.
